The Goldstream is a rugged fire pit made of durable corten steel which will develop a beautiful rusty brown color over time. Thanks to its innovative design, the Goldstream is very easy and quick to assemble and disassemble without the use of fasteners or tools. It is made up of different parts, and when folded, it forms a flat package that is easy to store.
Optionally, you can order a grill grate to transform the fire pit into a rugged grill in no time. To protect your terrace, we recommend ordering the drip tray.
Material & maintenance
The Goldstream fire basket is made of Corten steel, which is delivered unrusted. When you place the Goldstream outside, a rust layer will soon form. Depending on the weather and environment, each steel fire basket will take on a beautiful rust brown-orange colour in its own way. Corten steel is durable and has a unique metal alloy. The combination of these metals creates a dense oxidation layer. The strength of the steel is comparable to that of stainless steel. So you can enjoy this durable fire basket endlessly.
- Basically, the Goldstream fire basket requires no maintenance. The rusting process causes a protective layer to form on the steel.
- Place the steel fire basket in a place where it can always dry quickly after a rain shower.
- Remove wet leaves from the fire basket to prevent accelerated corrosion.
- Please note: Corten steel can give off rust on the surface.
