Material & maintenance

The Melville adirondack relax chair and footstool is made from teak wood. Teak is a hardwood timber which has been used for outdoor furniture for centuries. It will age over time and change colour to a silvery grey. Its characteristics; ageing, knots, rings and hairline cracks are what make this beautiful wood, in time, stand out. Although the Melville can take a beating, you can enjoy the relax chair and footstool longer with a little maintenance.

  • The teak parts can be wiped down with a damp cloth.
  • Do not cover the Melville to allow the materials to breathe.
